IS THIS AGAINST THE LAW?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Please help!?

My manager left a note next to the schedule and at the top it says "All Employees' Please sign to get paycheck next week". And the "note" was telling those who "can't think" or "have no common sence" (yes the manager mispelled "sense") what color dumpster we must use and "for those who are color blind, it's the one......" Can my manager by law hold my check from me for something silly like this? I signed of course, only because I want my check and didn't wanna be a problem maker or miss dramatic, but i was just wondering... I'm just curious and would like to know my rights. Thanks in advance.
