Why do you think Prohibition never works?

Because it's always introduced AFTER the problem has become too large. Had it been introduced since the beginning we'd have less of an issue with it. But since we waited almost a hundred years to put it into effect, enough people were a part of the problem that they were willing to fight to keep what they wanted, despite the crimes it created or helped fuel.
