Swimwear for skinny guy?

I'm enrolling for swimming lesson. Now, I'm looking for a swimwear that will best look for me. My legs are thin . Is wearing speedo would look fine? I'm actually shy to wear skimpy trunks. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
